      The fish are biting and the weather is getting warm here in Newport Beach.  The Freelance has been catching Barracuda, Calico Bass, and Sand Bass on its ¾ Day trips and the Sand Bass have been biting solid on their Twilight trips as well, it looks like the Sand Bass spawn is upon us.  The ½ Day trips are heating up as well, catching Calico Bass, Sand Bass, Sheephead, Halibut, and a few Barracuda.
